Mark has over a decade of experience advising creative agencies and companies in connection with organizational law, contractual engagements, financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and acquisitions (including the receipt of options, warrants and other derivatives), intellectual property protection, registration and licensing, joint ventures, equity compensation, investment fund formation, and associated regulatory and legal compliance. 

At Comar LLP, Mark has become increasingly involved with the emerging information litigation and conflict resolution practice area, frequently advising clients on anticipating, planning for and resolving disputes concerning their valuable trademarks, copyrights, digital deliverables, and trade secrets. 

Mark has also developed a sub-specialty in fields of digital naming, branding and marketing. He is passionately interested in the evolution of communication in the digital age and co-founded Definer, a digital social network that enabled coining new names, slogans, words and phrases (a platform that Fast Company included in its roundup of "Little Know App that Entrepreneurs Can't Live Without" and for which he was selected as an inaugural member of NEW INC, the first ever museum-led incubator for art, technology and design, and recognized as one of The Next Web’s 50 People in NYC’s Tech Scene that You Need to Know).
